General Manager Brion Pizzi and his staff opened up their restaurant home to Queer 2 The T allowing us to escape inside this exotic succulent oasis with a smorgasbord of delights to whet our appetites. While answering the 5 “W”s and touring the open kitchen, Brion began the evening by serving the signature cocktail called the Tashan which is created with Penn 1681, Blueberries, Lemon Grass and Green Cardamon! Already entranced by this superb beverage, we were then plated with Petite Vegetable Sariya (fire-roasted baby vegetables, Paneer, smoked sea salt), Pacific coast Tandoori Jumbo Shrimp (Wild Mexican U-12’s, herbal fenugreek, toasted yellow-pea flour, basil-seed-coco yogurt), Tandoor Chaamp (Austrailian Frenched lamb chops, Cashmere paprika, honey, mustard oil), Baby Octopus Nicobari (Spanish rock octopus gently braised, Tribal red bell-pepper sauce) and the Chef Basket which included G.O.C Naan, Peshawari Naan and Tandoori Roti! This was a MONDAY NIGHT for the record books. All of their drinks are top shelf accompanied by their magnificent cuisine and service.
